Call for Abstracts

Submission Period

Notes

• All abstracts must be submitted via the conference website. The abstract submitted by post, fax or e-mail is not acceptable.
• All abstracts must be written in English, including the title, abstract text, names of the authors and affiliations.
• Presentations may be delivered in either English or Japanese.
  As simultaneous interpretation services (Japanese / English) will be available in all sessions (except poster session), Japanese speakers can make a presentation in Japanese if they wish.

Structure

Abstract should comprise the following elements, with each beginning with a new paragraph:

• Title: The abstract title should be written in an initial letter capitalized / lower case form, not all capital.
• Authors: Authors' names should be supplied in the first name-last name format and should be in initial capital/lower case, not all capitals. Institutional affiliations should be indicated with superscript numbers following the author name.
• Affiliation: All affiliations should contain institution, city and country.
• Abstract text: The abstract should be as informative as possible. The abstract text for the original article should include: Background/Aims, Methods, Results and discussion, Conclusions. For case reports, the abstract should include an introduction and case description.

Character Limit

Title: Less than 30 words
Abstract body: Less than 300 words

Presentation Style

• Oral
• Poster
• Either is fine

*If selected for a poster presentation you will be required to display a physical poster.
  Accepted research abstract (s) may be assigned for either Oral or Poster Presentation subject to the committee's decision.
